the dense fog advisory is now in effect until 11 AM EST /10 am cst/ this morning.

visibilities will remain near zero at times in areas of
fog, particularly across southeast alabama and the eastern
florida panhandle. motorists travelling in these areas should remain alert for dense fog and sudden drops in visibility.

precautionary/preparedness actions…

a dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. if driving, slow down, use your low beam headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
