Dense Fog Advisory now In Effect Until 11 AM EST /10 AM Cst/ This Morning…

the dense fog advisory is now in effect until 11 AM EST /10 am cst/ this morning.

widespread dense fog will continue to drift west across the
florida panhandle and southwest georgia from tifton to
tallahassee. visibilities of a quarter mile or less have been reported in tallahassee and albany. as the fog drifts
west, portions of southeast alabama including abbeville and
gordon will see visibility reductions through late morning. the fog is expected to lift and burn off before noon.

a dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. if driving, slow down, use your low beam headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
