the National Weather Service in tallahassee has issued a

* severe thunderstorm warning for,
northeastern jackson county in the panhandle of florida,
southeastern houston county in southeast alabama,
extreme south central baker county in southwest georgia,
north central decatur county in southwest georgia,
south central early county in southwest georgia,
miller county in southwest georgia,
extreme southwestern mitchell county in southwest georgia, seminole county in southwest georgia…

* until 715 PM edt/615 PM cdt/

* at 623 PM edt/523 PM cdt/, the National Weather Service has detected a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. these storms were located along a line extending from mayhaw to 9 miles west of greenwood, or along a line extending from hentown to sills, and moving east at 15 mph.

* other locations in the warning include but are not limited to crosby, jakin, malone, lucy, chattahoochee sp, enterprise, colquitt, bascom, donalsonville, riverturn, little hope, davis park, steam mill, hornsville, donaldsonville a/p, buena
vista, two egg, lovedale, haynes, dellwood, sharphagen,
lela, iron city, eldorendo, desser, brinson, boykin, bellview and babcock
